Styled Shoot for Chesapeake Bay Wedding Magazine

We are VERY excited to announce that we were given the opportunity to be a part of the styled shoot for the Chesapeake Bay Wedding Magazine's Fall 2022 Edition! Front cover and a spread inside 😍.

The whole week before the big day we were buzzing with excitement, planning all of the pieces and a display for the arch. This issue of the magazine was going to be the Fall/Winter and in their last Fall/Winter issue they leaned more into winter. So we dove straight in to Fall.

We were encouraged to use this opportunity to try something new or different. First, we made a Pocket Boutonniere - a trend seeming to gain a lot of traction on Pinterest. We did make a traditional one, just in case the pocket didn't work out - but we are so happy that it did! Second, we have invested in drapes to use on our arches or as a part of the table runners. So we were able to create a design based around the fabric display. Third, we have never done a styled shoot before, and this was a huge step for us in getting our name out in the wedding world.

Before this shoot, I was under the impression that the brides and grooms were just models and that the love story was a very elaborate story that the magazine editors came up with. I was wrong! These are beautiful couples with real stories and their chemistry is undeniable!
