Plant Care Manager

Bloomin’ Wild Florist is currently hiring a Part-Time Plant Care Manager.

• Has a strong working knowledge of plants, plant care, and pest control.
• Works individually as well as on a team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential job responsibilities:

• Maintain working knowledge of plants and plant care products in the store to offer customers the best shopping experience.
• Answer customer inquiries on plant care and maintenance.
• Assist General Manager and/or Owner in ordering plant products.
• Assist Customer Service Team in maintaining the integrity of the retail space and displays.
• Care for all plants, keeping them in the best conditions possible.

Minimum qualifications:

• Knowledge of plants, plant care products, and pest management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time without assistance.
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive with a trailer is a plus.

Hours and Pay:

• Part-time availability (10am - 3pm as a sample schedule)
• Hourly or Salary available
  • $16-$20 per hour
  • $12,450 - $20,800
  • **Please note that Winter hours may be shorter/less due to the limited plant selection we offer in that time
• Flexible and understanding scheduling.

Opportunities for Growth:
This position can lead to Assistant Manager and/or General Manager. There are other potential opportunities depending on your abilities, skills, and preferences, as well as the needs of the company.
