Bloomin’ Wild Florist is currently hiring a Full/Part-Time Experienced Floral Designer.

Essential job responsibilities:

• Design fresh floral and permanent materials into pleasing designs to fill customer orders.
• Duplicate designs and follow recipes, as well as create new looks.
• Perform proper care and handling procedures.
• Maintain floral inventory, including minimizing floral waste and ensuring proper rotation.
• Handle customer inquiries and special requests.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2-3 years floral design or retail floral shop experience.
• Knowledge of a large variety of floral and plant materials.
• Computer skills.
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time without assistance.
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs and climb ladders as needed.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Hours and Pay:

• Full-time or Part-time availability (9am - 4pm as a sample schedule)
• Weekend availability is a plus, but not a requirement
• The weeks of Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving (NOT Thanksgiving Day or the day after), and Christmas (NOT Christmas Day or the day after) are mandatory
• Overtime is available during holidays and wedding season
• Hourly or Salary Pay Available:
  • $20 - $35 per hour
  • $41,600 - $72,800 (full-time)
  • $21,840 - $38,220 (part-time)
  • **Please note that the actual rate will be based on skill and experience.
