This past June, we had the joy of creating floral magic for a couple who envisioned a grand yet intimate wedding at the newly refurbished Bohemia Manor Farm. From the start, their love story felt like a page out of a storybook, with soft pastel touches and a unique, family-crafted picture frame arch. Every detail came together beautifully, even amidst budget and special considerations for the bride’s floral allergies.

Inspiration: Custom Pastel Florals

The bride’s stunning custom gown featured hand-painted pastel flowers, setting the tone for the entire event. To complement this delicate beauty, we curated a selection of blooms that mirrored the softness and romance of her dress. We chose:

Ranunculus for their lush, layered petals.
Delphinium to add height and a touch of whimsical blue.
Campanula for its bell-shaped elegance.
Sweet Pea for a light, airy feel.
Chamomile (also known as Feverfew) for their cheerful, wildflower vibe.

These choices were not just about aesthetics—they also ensured a scent-free experience for the bride, who had sensitivities to strong floral fragrances. This thoughtful approach allowed her to fully enjoy her day without worry.

Maximizing Budget with Mix-and-Match Centerpieces

Creating a grand floral experience on a budget required creativity. We designed a mix-and-match setup for the reception tables:

Being the first wedding after its renovation, the manor house was the perfect backdrop for this storybook theme. Its timeless charm and refreshed details made it feel like a fairytale setting brought to life.

One of the most enchanting elements was their "arch"—a giant picture frame crafted by a family member. It perfectly encapsulated the storybook theme, creating a frame for their love story to unfold. We couldn’t imagine a more fitting centerpiece for their ceremony.

From the moment we arrived to set up, the day was filled with warmth and joy. The bride and groom mingled with their family, laughter echoing through the manor. Despite the summer heat—so intense the catering team decided to wait on setting up the drink table!—the atmosphere was light-hearted and full of love.
We received so many kind words as we arranged the tall vases and delicate blooms, each one a reminder of why we’re passionate about creating wedding magic.
